Hi, I’m Hanna Bingham.
I am an LPCC, I live in Salida Colorado, and I provide telehealth and in-person walk-and-talk counseling services to clients across Colorado. I love the mountains, playing outside, curling up with a good book, sharing a drink with a friend, and spending time with my community both for fun and in spaces of advocacy.
My Approach to Counseling
My therapeutic approach at New Leaf Restorative Counseling centers narrative therapy, somatic embodied healing, wholeness through re-storying and through EMDR processing, and the belief that healing is possible when we are seen, heard, and held with care. Stories are powerful, and the stories we tell about ourselves, the stories others (or our culture/family/background/world) tell about us, shape our lives profoundly. Guided by feminist, womanist, queer, liberation-based, and somatic theories of practice, my work is rooted in the belief that every person holds the capacity for growth, resilience, and the power to reclaim their voice. I offer a safe and brave space where anyone can explore the fullness of who they are, honor their lived experiences, and reconnect with their inherent worth and agency as they heal from burnout, trauma, anxiety, or the feeling of being “too much,” “not enough,” or both.
With a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the importance of communal connection, I walk alongside my clients on their journeys of growth and healing. I believe this kind of change is not only a personal process, but also deeply relational. My work embraces the power of community, the wisdom held within every person, and the beauty of reimagining what’s possible. Whether working with individuals or groups, my care is tender, attentive, and rooted in the belief that we become more whole not by erasing our pain, but by gently reshaping the way we carry it.
