Do you offer online or in-person therapy?

Right now, I offer secure online counseling for clients anywhere in Colorado. This means you can meet with me from the comfort of your home, your office, or wherever you feel safe and grounded.

What issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and people healing from religious trauma or spiritual backgrounds that were harmful. Many of my clients also come to me for help with anxiety, depression, identity exploration, self-worth, and navigating life transitions.

What is narrative therapy?

Narrative therapy is based on the idea that you are not the problem, the problem is the problem. So often, painful experiences, cultural systems, or harmful messages shape the way we see ourselves in a negative way. Together, we’ll look at the stories you’ve been carrying and gently separate your identity from the struggles you’ve faced. From there, we’ll begin untangling and re-working those stories in a way that highlights your strength, resilience, values, and true identity. My role is to help you reclaim your voice and live a more authentic, life-giving story as you move forward.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy is a body-based approach that recognizes how stress, trauma, and emotions live not just in our minds but also in our nervous systems. Instead of only talking about experiences, we gently tune into sensations, movement, and breath to help release what’s been held in the body. This can be especially healing for people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or identity-related stress, allowing you to feel more grounded, connected, and at home in yourself.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

Finding the right therapist is important. If you’re looking for someone who is affirming, compassionate, and experienced in working with clients of diverse identities and backgrounds, I may be the right fit. I also offer a free consultation call so you can get a feel for my skill and how I work before scheduling or paying for your first session. And if you decide I’m not the right fit, I’ll help provide you with a number of referrals so that you can find the right therapist for your journey of healing and growth.

Do you work with people outside of Colorado?

Because of licensing laws, I can only see clients who are physically located in Colorado at the time of our sessions.

How do I get started?

The best place to start is by scheduling a free consultation. Just head to my contact page to email, text, or call and get started. We’ll spend a few minutes talking about what you’re looking for in therapy, and you can decide if it feels right for you.
